Welcome To The Sherborn Snappers Team Site
Welcome to the 2025 Snappers swim season. We are pleased that you have decided to spend your summer with us and hope that you and your child(ren) will have as much fun as we do each year. This is the central place of communication for the Sherborn Snappers Swim Team, a recreational and competitive summer swim team open to residents of Sherborn and Dover, which is based at Farm Pond in Sherborn. On this site you will find everything you need to know about being a Snapper. We look forward to a great season!
Throughout the season practices and coaching instruction focus on the development of proficiency in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. Our goal is for the coaches, parents, and swimmers to come together as a team to work toward personal improvement in swimming and success as a competitive swim team, so that the children will finish the season with a rewarding and positive experience.
Access to all sections of the Snappers site is by permission only for team and family members. You will receive full access to the team website once you have registered to join Snappers. You will recieve an email invitation once your child's registration has been processed. If you do not receive this email, you may request access through the site.
For the 2025 season ALL REGISTRATIONS WILL BE DONE ONLINE. Registration will open March 10th and the price per swimmer is $250 for the season. Registration will close on JULY 1st. Please click on the Registration button to the right to begin the sign up process. In addition to registering through this website, you must also REGISTER and PAY on the Sherborn Rec Page to complete your swimmer's registration. In order to successfully register for the team, you must complete both steps.
Practice will begin the first Monday after school is out for summer! GO SNAPPERS!
Farm Pond Information
Farm Pond is our home pool! We don't have an exact address, but it is located between 180-220 Lake Street in Sherborn, MA. If you search " Farm Pond Beach" or "Farm Pond Swimming" you will be taken to the correct address. You know you are in the right spot when you see a large parking lot with a parking attendant hut. We practice in a 6 lane, 25 yard pool in the pond.
Farm Pond Parking Pass: Everyone must obtain a pass to park at the pond. These are issued at Town Hall in Sherborn. Car registration must be current.
For Dover residents two options exist for passes:
- 1st Year in Program: families may get a pass for swim team hours only $90
- 2nd year in Program and Beyond: families have two options, $90 for swim team hours only pass or paying a $300 non-resident fee for a pass that can be used any time of day.

** It is highly recommended that swimmers try on suits as the sizing for competition suits is really unique. A team suit fit kit will be available the first week of practice for swimmers to determine their size. Families will then be able to order online at our Snappers team store here.
